A 4-day safari exploring Ngutuni, Salt Lick, Lake Jipe, and Ziwani is a fantastic way to experience the diverse wildlife and landscapes of Kenya’s lesser-visited but incredibly beautiful parks. This itinerary allows you to explore both wildlife conservation areas and breathtaking lakes, all while experiencing the authentic beauty of Kenya’s off-the-beaten-path destinations.
Here's a suggested itinerary for your 4-day adventure:
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Ngutuni
Morning: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi), meet your guide, and transfer to Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary, located near Tsavo East National Park (approximately 4-5 hours’ drive). This area is known for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras.
Lunch: Stop for lunch en route at a local restaurant or picnic stop.
Day 1. Diani – Tsavo East National park
Meet and greet by your safari driver guide. There after you have a short trip briefing . You’ll be on a 4 days safari to discover and explore Tsavo in great length and the land of Kilimanjaro full of wildlife.
Depart from your hotel or airport in the morning and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to the first gate to Tsavo east national park (Bachuma gate). There will be a short stop-over before entry .
After entry embark on your first game viewing in search of Elephants ,the man eaters of Tsavo, Buffalo, cheetah, Giraffe and other plain game.
Lunch at wildlife lodge/Luxury camp. Afternoon game drive which includes a visit to the famous Aruba dam where lots of game can be found especially during the dry season .
Dinner and overnight in the same lodge/luxury camp.
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Start your safari adventure with a morning departure from your Nairobi Hotel/ Airport from Nairobi at 7:30 AM, driving towards Amboseli National Park. The journey, taking about 4 to 4.5 hours, is scenic, with views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival at your lodge in Amboseli, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch. After settling in, take in the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. Known for its iconic elephant herds and big tuskers, Amboseli offers excellent opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife against the stunning backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
Return to your lodge in the evening at around 5:30-6 PM, Refreshen up and enjoy your freshly prepared dinner and a restful night.
Day 1. Diani Beach – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Meet and greet with your safari driver. There after you’ll have a short trip briefing before departure.
Begin your safari at 0600 hrs. Drive on a scenic road through Lush coconut & Bixa farms to join the main Mombasa –Nairobi road . Proceed via Voi town to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary.
Mid-morning Game drive after entry. Taita hills wildlife sanctuary hosts four among the members of the big five & it’s adjacent to Tsavo west national park. The Sanctuary is rich in wildlife.
Lunch. Enjoy excellent views and photographic opportunities from SaltLick lodge lobby / terraces areas. Visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close, yet safe access to variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & saltlicks. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 1 - Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your tour starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge.
Note: The last 1-hour drive to Masai Mara is on the corrugated and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for clients with back problems. Clients with back problems can consider flying directly to (and out of) Masai Mara.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Masai Mara
